Steven Chinn

Steven G. Chinn, Born and raised in Sioux City Iowa. I come from a family of career artists, mechanics, and educators. I enjoy doing a bit of each creative world and have been fortunate enough to make a job out of it.

From a professional standpoint, I've had my artwork hosted on websites such as 3dmotive and Sketchfab & Artstation on multiple occasions. I've also been published in Substance Painter's first Art Book release called "Meet Mat". My art has been published in a book by fellow instructor Scott Tucker, "Legend of Thorgrim book series & The Greatest Treasure in the World".

I also work with an advertisement company out of the UK known as Threedium, creating 3d models and textures for high-level corporations such as Starbucks, Nestle, BMW, and many others.

In July of 2021, I also had the privilege of actually teaching Maya and Substance Painter to some pretty big companies, using their models and methods.

In late 2016 I started working solo on a first-person adventure project titled "Gold Moon" This is a 3d platforming puzzle-solving, trap-avoiding, realistic adventure game taking place in the 1950s Egyptian Valley of the Kings. This is a free download on Steam! (see below)

In October of 2021, Working with MGI, I helped lead the design and creation of an educational stand-up arcade game for the Sioux City Lewis and Clark Educational Center.As well as some other projects

Besides that I am also working on a team developing a retro-fps game called "WODE" (it sounds ominous but it's really goofy) and I can't wait to also share that with everyone.
