The Sioux City Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center in collaboration with Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) and Mytopia Gameware Institute (MGI) are releasing a innovative, hands-on videogame “Percy’s Adventures” that focuses on the adventures of the Corps of Discovery in Siouxland.
More work is being done to the appearance of the exhibit before it opens! The free, interactive exhibit will open Tuesday, October 5 and will be available for all visitors to enjoy during normal business hours. This exhibit marks the return of MGI, a games development company created in the late 70's by Dr. Frank Heffner. Students who recently graduated from the WITCC Game Design online program took part in the creation of this game along with instructors Steven Chinn and John Sager.
